How to watch

To enjoy the free livestream and exclusive content, simply head to the Amazon Music channels on Twitch each day from 6:30 pm BST.

During the first weekend, you can take your pick of two different channels, with commentary available in English, with two further channels offering Spanish subtitles. Viewers at home can also watch live on Prime Video. All content is free to watch across both Twitch and Prime Video.

During the second weekend, there will be additional exclusive behind-the-scenes content and interviews as well as unforgettable performances live on the Amazon Music channels on Twitch. The live show will be broadcast in Spanish, but there will be English subtitles provided.

Unforgettable live performances

Both weekends have similar lineups, and the same headliners. Among the headliners being broadcast on Twitch and Prime Video are Blur, New Order and Depeche Mode. Other artists on the lineup being broadcast include Måneskin, St. Vincent, Christine and the Queens, and Arlo Parks – who took part in a variety show special, Tonight with Arlo Parks, with Amazon Music on Prime Video in 2021.

So, no matter your favourite artists, you’ll be able to enjoy them through Amazon Music, Twitch, and on Prime Video this summer when they perform at Primavera Sound through the livestream. And to whet your appetite beforehand, don’t forget to check out the Primavera Sound 2023 playlist carefully curated by the festival itself on Amazon Music.

Festival perks

Amazon Music is also sponsoring one of the stages at Primavera – the Amazon Music Stage. And, music fans attending the festival in person get some extra perks with Amazon Music if you visit the onsite pop up experience. You can create your own content for social media, and have the opportunity to win a range of prizes too. They range from exclusive merchandise to VIP ticket upgrades, with plenty up for grabs.

If you’re watching from home you’ll still get plenty of exclusive content, including interviews with some of music’s biggest stars, live-streamed straight to you through Twitch and Prime Video.

Primavera Sound Festival was first held in 2001 in Barcelona, and in recent years it has expanded to cities like Porto, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires and São Paulo. It’s being hosted in Madrid for the first time this year, along with the now-iconic Barcelona festival.

This year’s festival marks the first weekend-long festival streaming event from Amazon Music in Europe, following on from the broadcast of Dreamville Festival in North Carolina and Stagecoach Festival in California.
